System Engineer in Defense and Industry

Are you an experienced system engineer looking to work on qualified assignments in defense and industry? Do you want to support our customers in their challenges while developing yourself by working at the forefront of technology? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

At Combitech in Trollhättan, we build teams focused on supporting our customers with comprehensive solutions in product development. Our intention is to carry out most of the work at our local office, but the consulting role also involves assignments at the customer's site. Through collaboration and competence development, we create an inclusive climate where you as a consultant contribute to both Combitech's and our customers' development.

What the role entails

The tasks include working with requirements and breaking down complex systems, as well as comparing system alternatives by identifying, developing, and modeling. You will also serve as analysis support and technical leader during the development and verification phases. We offer the opportunity to develop within specific areas of interest through a long-term dialogue with your immediate manager. Perhaps you are interested in process and method development to support efficient system development in combination with new technology, or in systems and their various application areas.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a responsive and analytical individual with the ability to identify needs and drive processes forward, focusing on value and results. You should be used to communicating and presenting to both customers and colleagues. You enjoy creating new relationships and are happy to share your knowledge.

You have solid experience in system development and have preferably held a project management role or similar. You should have a relevant technical degree, such as in computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering. It is an advantage if you have participated in a complex product development project from concept to finished product. The assignments require good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Many of our assignments are subject to defense confidentiality, requiring you to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
